have u ever heard of a artist named brett booth. he is freelance artist worked with marvel and did some spider man stuff. he lives like maybe 15 mins away. he helped me like every summer with my art. so i get tons of help if needed.

he was pretty good but the stuff i have is from the mid 90s or so.

the man i worship is walter simonson.

yea he did some spider-man stuff too. at are local comic book store there is a huge i mean we are talkin like poster size picture of spider-man that he did for marvel.

well from what i hear the comic industry sucks nowadays.

its really hard to get work.

my friend has an indy amerimanga comic in arizona that he self publishes and hes letting me have a few pages in the next issue to do my own story.

five pages isnt bad - its not like im making any money of it, but im doing it more or less because i want to tell the story along with my fulltime job. doing art for video games is fun, but comics is more satisfying.

yes, the Industry does suck. I've been there and I don't like it, a bunch of hypocritical arrogant vipers, the whole lot of them. Sorry, haha I was looking at supergirl up there and totally loving your line work. (very clean style by the way, very impressed) and I began to read you guy's conversation, and that struck a nerve for me. But yes, after being asked to do work for companies like DC, and Aspen, then after doing the work, waisting my time, they drop off the face of the planet. its aggrivating and appearently you cant rely on any one any more. You are indeed fortunate to have a guy who acctually works in the industry help you along. probably would have made my life easier having a teacher. At any rate, Ive been going through your gallery, and I would love to see more. you have a great style going here, and it would appear that you have a firm grasp on your line art. I hope you wont mind that I favorite this. and with your permission add you to my friends list. I would like to keep an eye out for more stuff you do, an perhapse one day color something of yours. keep up the fine work
